"I want..."

and "We should..." and "I need..."

Are basically phrases that I personally find offensive. They are not requests. They are demands that someone else do something for you. They have to take the time out of what they are doing to accomodate you.

Unless it's followed by some sort of offer on your part to compromise or compensate, I do not respond to them.

Who doesn't understand this?
